Jennifer A. Jacobs

Jennifer A. Jacobs, born and raised in New York, New York, is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and dual minor in Philosophy and Political Science. She received her law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2005. Ms. Jacobs’ experience falls into 2 areas:

Criminal Law

While in law school, she interned and worked as a law clerk at the Juvenile Rights Division of the New York Legal Aid Society and at the Public Defender Service for the District of Colombia. Upon admission to the Florida Bar, Ms. Jacobs served as an Assistant Public Defender in Orange County, Florida representing hundreds of clients charged with juvenile delinquency, felony, misdemeanor and criminal traffic offenses.

Civil Litigation

In her practice of civil litigation, Ms. Jacobs honed her skills on both sides of the aisle - pursuing personal injury, property damage and personal injury protection claims on behalf of Plaintiffs and defending insurance companies against these same types of claims.

Currently, the JAJ Law Firm areas of practice include Criminal Law, Personal Injury, Immigration, Family Law, Landlord/Tenant Disputes, Contract Disputes, Traffic Violations and Estate Planning. Ms. Jacobs is duly qualified and admitted to practice law in all state courts and the U.S. District Court and U.S. Court of Appeals in the State of Florida. In addition, Ms. Jacobs is qualified and admitted to practice law in all state courts in Georgia.
